Frequently Asked Questions

BATH & BODY PRODUCTS

Are Your Products Fresh?

Yes, all of our products are made to order with fresh ingredients to ensure superior quality.

How Should I Care For My Natural Products?

  • Avoid the introduction of water into your bath products.
  • For best results, store your products in a cool dry location.
  • Place soaps on a soap dish that provides adequate drainage.
  • Remove scrubs from their container with a clean utensil.
These precautions will extend the shelf life of your products tremendously.

Will the Products Melt When Shipped?

Body butters, lip balms, and salves may soften during shipping in warmer weather. Upon receiving a product that has been affected by the heat, simply place it in the refrigerator until it has solidified. Whipped Shea Butter may loses its fluffiness if the product has melted in transit, but the quality of the product will not be affected. I PROMISE!

Are Your Products Tested On Animals?

NEVER! We LOVE our fur babies just as much as we love our customers. With that said, we are currently in the lab developing a few products to pamper our posh pets. Stay tuned.

Each product description on our website includes a complete list of ingredients. People with sensitivities to any listed ingredient SHOULD NOT use the product. In case you are in doubt always try an allergy patch test and if at any time irritation occurs, discontinue the use of the product.

CANDLES

What is Coconut Soy Wax?

Coconut soy wax is a natural blend of coconut wax made from the meat of a coconut, beautifully blended with a harder vegetable wax (soy) to create a beautiful burning candle.

Candle Care & Maintenance

NEVER leave a burning candle unattended! Burn candles on a protective, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts in a well-ventilated room. First Burn — The first time you light your candle, allow the candle to burn for at least 2 - 3 hours to achieve a full melt pool. This creates a "candle memory." So the next time you burn your candle, the melted pool of wax will "remember" to extend to the outside rim of the jar. Trim your wooden wick to 1/8 or 3/16 of an inch prior to each use. Trim the wick where the wood naturally breaks off to remove the carbon build-up left from the previous burn. If the candle smokes or the flames become too high, extinguish immediately. Never burn a candle for more than 4 hours. We recommend burning in cycles of 2 - 3 hours or until a full melt pull has been achieved. This will maximize an even burn and maximize the throw of your fragrance. Extinguish the flame by placing the lid on the candle or by using a wick snuffer. This will help eliminate smoking or "afterglow." Store candles in an upright, level position in a dark and cool area. Do not store directly in bright light or leave in your vehicle. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

How Do You Burn a Candle with a Wooden Wick?

It is very important to trim the wicks to between 1/8” – 3/16”. If the wooden wick is too long, the wax will not pull up the wick, and the flame will dim or even extinquish. After you have burned your candle, it may develop a slight amount of ash at the top of the wick. The ash can be easily broken off when cooled. Before relighting, cut the wooden wick using a wick trimmer.
